Batman: Arkham Trilogy Coming to Switch in October

Switch users will finally be able to play through the Batman: Arkham series soon, as Nintendo has announced that the trilogy of games will be coming to the hybrid console on October 13.

What’s included?

According to the Nintendo eShop, the Batman: Arkham trilogy package will feature the three entries from Rocksteady Studios, which includes Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight.

This, unfortunately, means that 2013’s Arkham Origins won’t be included in the set, as this was developed by Splash Damage and WB Games Montreal.

On top of this, the Switch trilogy will also come bundled with all DLC as well — even more Caped Crusader for your money. Speaking of money, it’s also going to be $59.99.

While the Arkham series hasn’t enjoyed much popularity over the last few years, the entries that have been released have gone down well with a lot of people. Some installments, such as Origins and Knight, haven’t been as well received, while Asylum and City were universally praised.

It’s also nice that Nintendo Switch users will now get their chance to step into the black boots of Batman, taking on such iconic villains as The Joker, Poison Ivy, Croc, Scarecrow, and all the others that have become synonymous with the legendary comic franchise.

Many fans are probably also looking forward to the delayed Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which is now dropping in February of next year. Whether there’ll be a Switch port cannot be said at this stage, but it’ll be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S when it does launch.

For now, look out for the Batman: Arkham trilogy on the Nintendo system in the next few weeks.
